Privacy Policy

This policy explains how SectorLift and Campaign OS collect, use, share, protect, and retain information.

Effective date: July 16, 2026

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy explains how SectorLift handles information through the SectorLift website, business audit and advisory services, and Campaign OS. In this policy, Services means those websites, applications, and related services.

When a customer uploads or otherwise provides information about its own contacts, the customer decides what information to provide and how it will be used through the Services. The customer is responsible for having the rights and permissions needed to provide that information and instruct SectorLift to process it.

2. Information we collect

Depending on which Services and features are used, we may collect:

  • Account and contact information: names, email addresses, phone numbers, company names, roles, login details, support requests, and communications with us.
  • Customer contact data: contact lists and CRM data uploaded, imported, entered, or connected by a customer, such as names, email addresses, phone numbers, companies, job titles, tags, custom fields, list membership, and suppression or unsubscribe status.
  • Campaign and business content: email copy, subject lines, templates, calls to action, brand materials, campaign settings, documents, PDFs, images, listing or business details, audit responses, findings, recommendations, and other content submitted to or generated through the Services.
  • Sending and engagement data: sender configuration, recipient and outbox records, scheduled and sent times, message identifiers, provider responses, and delivery, bounce, failure, open, click, complaint, and unsubscribe events where available.
  • AI, enrichment, and research data: prompts, instructions, source material, extracted facts, generated output, review decisions, and business or professional information obtained from customer-provided sources, connected services, data providers, or publicly available web pages.
  • Usage and technical data: IP address, browser and device information, pages and features used, dates and times, referring pages, diagnostic logs, and security events.
  • Cookies and similar technologies: information used to maintain sessions, remember preferences, secure the Services, understand usage, and measure performance.

3. How we use information

We use information to:

  • provide, operate, maintain, and improve the Services;
  • create accounts, authenticate users, provide support, and communicate about the Services;
  • import and organize customer data, prepare campaign content, schedule and send messages, process provider responses, and maintain unsubscribe and suppression records;
  • perform business audits, analysis, enrichment, and web research requested by customers;
  • generate drafts, summaries, recommendations, and other AI-assisted output for customer review;
  • measure service performance and campaign activity, troubleshoot problems, and prevent abuse, fraud, or unauthorized access;
  • enforce agreements and comply with applicable legal obligations; and
  • develop and improve features using aggregated, de-identified, or otherwise appropriately handled information.

4. Customer contact data

Customer contact data is used to provide the Services requested by the customer, including list management, campaign preparation and delivery, validation, enrichment, analytics, suppression, and support. We do not sell customer contact data to advertisers.

We may disclose customer contact data to service providers that help us deliver the Services, when directed by the customer, when needed to protect the Services or others, or when required by law. Customers should not upload sensitive personal information unless it is necessary for an approved use and they have authority to do so.

5. AI features, enrichment, and web research

SectorLift and Campaign OS may use AI to extract information from submitted materials, draft or revise content, summarize research, suggest campaign elements, analyze business information, or support enrichment and web research. Relevant prompts, source material, and instructions may be sent to AI or research providers so those features can work.

AI-generated and enriched information can be incomplete or inaccurate. Customers should review output, source details, recipients, links, and campaign content before relying on or sending it. We may keep review decisions and related records to operate, secure, and improve the workflow.

6. Service providers and disclosures

We use service providers to help operate the Services. These may include hosting and infrastructure providers, database and storage providers, email delivery and routing providers, email or contact validation providers, AI model and research providers, analytics and monitoring providers, authentication providers, and customer support tools.

These providers may process information for the functions they perform for us. We may also disclose information in connection with a business transaction, to comply with law or legal process, or when reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, security, and the integrity of the Services.

7. Cookies and analytics

The Services may use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies for essential functions such as authentication, security, and preferences, and for analytics that help us understand performance and usage. Browser settings can be used to limit cookies, but blocking essential cookies may prevent parts of the Services from working correctly.

8. Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information in light of the nature of the Services. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Customers are responsible for protecting their credentials, configuring access appropriately, and promptly reporting suspected unauthorized use.

9. Retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably needed to provide the Services, maintain business and security records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and meet legal obligations. Retention varies by information type, customer instructions, and operational need. We may retain limited suppression or unsubscribe records after other campaign data is removed so that opt-out requests can continue to be honored. Residual copies may remain in backups until those backups are overwritten or expire.

10. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live and the circumstances, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a copy of personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. We may need to verify a request and may retain information when permitted or required by law.

Marketing email recipients can use the unsubscribe link in the message. Customers that control contact data should handle requests from their contacts and may contact us when assistance is needed. You can also adjust cookie choices through your browser settings.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the Services or our information practices change. We will post the updated policy on this page and revise the effective date. If a change is material, we may provide additional notice where appropriate.
